The Leadership Practices Inventory (LPI)-Deluxe Facilitator's Guide Pkg 3rd Edition (Loose-leaf, with CD-ROM Scoring Software, Self/Observer, Workbk, Planner & Leadership Challenge book, 4th Edition) by Kouzes and Posner. A great book about the characteristics of great leaders.
Mastery by George Leonard. Practical wisdom about getting to the next level with patience and focus.
Six Thinking Hats Revised Edition by Edward De Bono. A favorite for focusing thinking for yourself or a group.
A Whack on the Side of the Head: How You Can Be More Creative by Roger von Oech. Have you ever wondered if there was a way to get more creative, or help others get more creative. This is a great book for ideas, games and processes for just that.
Start & Run a Consulting Business by Douglas Gray, a great little book for getting set up in consulting. It includes templates and samples.
On Project Management
A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge. From the Project Management Institute. A comprehensive book of project management processes, and knowledge groups.
PMP Exam Prep: Rapid Learning to Pass PMI's PMP Exam-On Your First Try! by Rita Mulcahy. She's great at condensing the information into understandable chunks so you can maximize your study time.
